    Description :

“Returning toward the centre of town, just before the bridge a sign points left to Emir Sultan. The road also leads to Yeşil Cami, the Green Mosque, the crowning glory of early Ottoman architecture in Bursa, the masterpiece of Sultan Mehmet I and his architect, Hacı Ivaz ibn Ahi Beyazit. Its position is superb, set on a prominence amidst towering cypresses, and commanding a magnificent view over the valley… it is, as Evliya Çelebi maintained, beautiful beyond all conception.”
