Project on the map (green arrow)
“As if conducting a symphony of shapes, architect Portzamparc created multiple asymmetrical buildings toned with curves and triangles and spirals beneath a lyrical rhythm of rising roofs. The left wing contains rehearsal rooms for the use of music students; while the right wing is a public space, with a museum, concert hall, shop, and café. The museum is a masterpiece of sound and fun. It contains an exceptional collection of musical instruments from throughout the ages and is wired for individual interactive acoustics.”
