    Description :

Cité universitaire was founded in 1921 to provide accommodation and support for foreign students in Paris, with a number of residential pavilions endowed by different national communities. The Swiss community commissioned Le Corbusier in the late 1920s. The residence features his five points of architecture: thin round posts, horizontal windows, a light façade of metal and glass, no visual structural supports, and roof terraces. He decorated the interior with a fresco, and also designed the furniture.
