The mystic mountain (or hill that prays) is Fourvière, which houses the headquarters of the diocese, several convents, and hosts at its top the Notre-Dame de Fourvière. The mountain of work (the hill that works) is the Red Cross because it was the place where the canuts were living and working, and built to the town its silky reputation.
