    Description :

The original monastery collapsed in the early eighteenth century. The reconstruction, which involved changing the orientation of the church, began in 1742.

The facade of the church, designed (in baroque style) in the 18th century by Simon Rodriguez, is imposed on the outline for its size. It was executed by Fray Manuel Caeiro, not being done yet in 1770, a fact which responds to two distinct concepts in decorating reduced to the bottom of it, changing dramatically over the height of the entablature which changes noticeably adapting the neoclassical principles.
